An Administrative Rule Change to increase the assessment rate on all processed cherries (brined, canned, frozen) was filed to be published in the March 2018 Oregon Bullentin. A public hearing was held Friday, March 23, 2018. No written comments were received in the OSCC office and no one came to the hearing to comment. A majority of the Commissioners voted to increase the assessment rate on processed cherries from $6.75 per ton to $9.00 per ton in a Special Meeting on March 30, 2018 effective for the 2018 season. The permanent rule was filed April 5, 2018.
